Founded in 2010, Codespot began as a small team of tech enthusiasts with a vision to redefine digital experiences through innovation, collaboration, and reliable development expertise.
Our Story
Rainbow Mobile Networks is a Ghanaian communication technology provider focused on designing, building, operating and maintaining telecommunication towers in rural and peri‑urban communities. RMN leverages the Government of Ghana’s GIFEC Rural Telephony initiative to extend mobile and data connectivity to areas previously considered unprofitable by mobile network operators. We currently operate 50 active sites, with an additional 33 in deployment, serving communities across all 16 regions of Ghana.
2013–2016
Company founded; built 100‑m tower; first contracts with Airtel‑Tigo & Ericsson
2017–2018
Revenue share agreements with MTN; 100 site surveys; POC design completed
2019
Vodafone revenue share finalized; first POC site activated; featured in Prosper Africa’s Deal Room
2021–2022
Launched monthly revenue operations; fundraising with ThirdWay Capital & MFS; Phase 2 sites begun
2023
Revenue Assurance Team onboarded; MTN co‑located on 26 sites; 33,000 subscribers milestone
2024
23 new sites; 4G/LTE rollout; 41,000 subscribers; 44 TB data; 21.5M voice minutes
